Curtis Brackenbury played in the NHL for the Edmonton Oilers during the years of 1980-1982, and also played for the St. Louis Blues for the 1982-83 season. After his years in the NHL, Curtis devoted his time to the study of skating stride, technique, and mindfulness to develop his own method to improve the ability of young and older hockey players alike. He has invested his life into the game, and has touched the lives of many players far and wide, including that of Ray Jacques Jr. Without the training that he underwent with Curtis, he may not have become the college hockey player and coach that he is today.
